August 13, 2025 - The new Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 has been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.35 crore, ex-showroom, Pan India. It is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox sending power to all four wheels via 4MATIC+ system.

Safety Features

For safety and security, the Mercedes AMG CLE 53 gets eight airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). The ADAS features include active brake assist, active park assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and more.

Engine and Transmission

The AMG CLE 53 is powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder petrol engine paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a fully variable 4MATIC+ system. This engine is capable of producing 449hp and 560Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in just 4.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of 270kmph.

The new Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 is available in six exterior colour choices - Sun Yellow, Obsidian Black, Patagonia Red Metallic, Spectral Blue, Opalite White and Alpine Grey.
