June 6, 2025 - the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was the second best-selling car in the month of May 2025 in India. The company sold a total of 16,140 units of the Ertiga last month as compared to 13,893 units in May 2024, registering an impressive YoY sales growth of 16%.

April 18, 2025 - first launched on April 16, 2012, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been the country’s best-selling MPV. It has clocked its highest 12 month sales in last financial year, that’s FY2025. Maruti Suzuki has sold over 12.19 lakh vehicles in the past 13 years.

March 3, 2025 - Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of the Ertiga MPV by up to 15,000. The entry-level Lxi (O) variant is now expensive by Rs 15,000, while the other variants witness a uniform price hike of Rs 10,000. The three row MPV is now available in the price bracket of Rs 8.96 lakh to Rs 13.26 lakh, ex-showroom.

The new Ertiga comes with more appealing interior than before, featuring an evolutionary dashboard design and dual-tone beige/bronze scheme with word inserts. Engine Specifications

The Suzuki Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C engine. This unit is offered with both petrol and CNG fuel type. The naturally-aspirated petrol engine produces 102 bhp and 136 Nm of torque in the petrol guise, while the figures drop to 87 bhp and 121 Nm for the CNG version. For gearbox duties, the MPV gets 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic unit with paddle shifters.

The Maruti Ertiga manual version is claimed to return an ARAI certified fuel economy of 20.51kmpl with manual gearbox and 20.3kmpl with automatic unit. The CNG version returns a mileage of 26.11 km/kg.

The 7-seater MPV is claimed to offer a boot space of 209-litres when all three rows are in position. It comes with 60:40 split second-row seats and 50:50 split third-row seats. Customers can further increase the boot space by folding the third-row seats.
